Presenting: Our 33rd Season!

Choral Festival

Last Season

Performances featured music of Christmas in early December, a classical work in early March, and a Pops concert in early May.

Holiday Concert

"Sounds of the Season" Accompaniment was provided by David Billings, organ. 'Twas the season – no matter what holiday you celebrate! You heard classic holiday tunes, traditional Christmas carols and popular favorites.

Classical Concert

The Pittsburgh Concert Chorale explored musical settings that highlight the trials of war and the uplifting transcendence of peace. From the first notes of Richard Burchard's hauntingly beautiful "O vos omnes", to Jeffrey Van's A Procession Winding Around Me, a powerful setting of Walt Whitman texts for chorus and guitar, to the final "Dona nobis pacem" of Franz Joseph Haydn's triumphant Mass in Time of War, this concert surely struck a chord deep within you.

Our concerts featured Katy Williams, soprano, Eva Rainforth, mezzo-soprano, William Ottow< tenor, Joel Goodloe, baritone, Robert Sheffer, guitar, and the PCC Orchestra.

Pops Concert

Back by popular demand! The Jazz Conspiracy Swingtet will again join the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale in a salute to the Big Band Era. Enjoy hits from the greatest generation by Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Jimmy Dorsey, Les Brown, and more. This isn't just your grandparents' music. Come find out why it don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing!
