The Pittsburgh Concert Chorale explored musical settings that highlight the trials of war and the uplifting transcendence of peace. From the
first notes of Richard Burchard's hauntingly beautiful "O vos omnes", to Jeffrey Van's A Procession Winding Around Me, a powerful setting of Walt
Whitman texts for chorus and guitar, to the final "Dona nobis pacem" of Franz Joseph Haydn's triumphant Mass in Time of War, this concert surely struck a
chord deep within you.
Our concerts featured Katy Williams, soprano, Eva Rainforth, mezzo-soprano, William Ottow< tenor, Joel Goodloe, baritone, Robert Sheffer, guitar, and the PCC Orchestra.
