How long have you lived in Pittsburgh? I have lived in Pittsburgh my entire life other than during my period of military service.
Immediate family: I have been married for 37 years. I have 2 children and 2 grandchildren
Occupation/Employment: Semi retired attorney. I worked for 36 years with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Interests/Hobbies: Choral singing, reading and history.

Phil KrileyPhil Kriley

How long have you lived in Pittsburgh? Since1954
Immediate family:  Wife, Robin Kriley who is a soprano in the chorale; daughter Martha who lives in Streetsboro Ohio and sings with the Hudson singers; son Andrew who is a senior at Renssalear Polytechnic Institute, majoring in Aeronautical Engineering.
Occupation/Employment:  Retired
Interests/Hobbies:  I am a private pilot and am building a Cozy Mk IV plane in my barn. I have been involved with the Musical Theatre Guild of Butler since 1971, performing in and/or directing over 30 musicals. I also enjoy golf and bowling.
Favorite type of music: My favorite rock band is Boston; my favorite musicals are "Phantom of the Opera" and "The Secret Garden".
Favorite vacation spot:  Hawaii
Other comments:  I have a degree in Music Education from Duquesne University, where I was a voice major, graduating in 1977. I went back to school at Penn State and studied Computer Science and then was involved in data processing for 30 years. My wife Robin and I are "empty nesters" and are looking forward to traveling with our plane when I get it finished in the next few years. We're very impressed with the professionalism and talent we have seen in the PCC and can't wait to start performing.

Ron LargeRon Large

How long have you sung with PCC? Since 1995 Prior to the Concert Chorale I was with the Bach Choir of Pittsburgh for ten years.

How long have you lived in Pittsburgh? All of my life, except for one year in Columbus, OH. I've lost count of the years!
Immediate family: Wife Susie (dec.), son Tommy (dec.), daughter Elizabeth Boudreau of Gettysburg, PA, son Matthew (Lisa) of Fairview Park, OH and six grandchildren (Kiah, Graham, Grace and Cole Boudreau; Abby and Sam Large).
Occupation/Employment: Retired Chemical Engineer; employed by Consolidation Coal, Battelle Institute, Gulf Oil (R&D) and MSA (29 years).
Interests/Hobbies: In addition to singing (church choir and PCC), I enjoy biking, walking, reading, genealogy, stamp collecting, yard work and driving Miss Susie. Also a part-time musician: upright and guitar bass, ukulele, bones and tambourine.
Favorite type of music: Classical, Jazz and Blue Grass
Favorite vacation spot: Avalon NJ, North Myrtle Beach and Hawaii
Other comments: I really enjoy my job as music librarian for the Concert Chorale. I get to meet every singer and I know their number. The Pittsburgh Concert Chorale is a fine group of people that enjoys making beautiful music together.

Favorite type of music: Classical singing with PCC and Beach Boys singing in the car on a sunny afternoon with the windows open - -there are a lot of others that I also love but these are my two favorites
Favorite vacation spot: Bermuda - -my wife and I go every February
Other comments: PCC is not just good music, it is a great group of people and our director has a way of making us laugh and work hard at the same time. It is an honor and a joy to be a part of this organization.

How long have you lived in Pittsburgh? Since 1965. I was transferred here from Detroit, Michigan by U.S.Steel. I was born, raised, and married in Detroit. My two sons were born in Detroit and raised in Ross Township.
Immediate family: Two sons and their families. Three grandchildren. My granddaughter is in Afghanistan in Air Force Intelligence and her brother is in the U.S.Marines and stationed at Camp David, MD. My oldest son, Dan, is a physician and lives in Michigan with his wife, Christine, and 14 year old son, Nicolas. My youngest son, Mike, is a high school band director and lives in Katy, TX with his wife, Jami.
Occupation/Employment: Retired. Worked for U.S. Steel in Marketing and Sales for 31 years. Left U.S. Steel to found my own steel sales and consulting company, YSS Corporation, and sold steel products for Charter Steel of Saukville, WI and Roanoke Electric Steel in Roanoke, VA.
Interests/Hobbies: Singing, traveling in my motorhome, spending time with my family.
Favorite type of music: I enjoy most types of music except hard rock, rap (Music?), etc.
Favorite vacation spot: Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in Michigan. In strong second place is Southwestern Texas-Southern New Mexico-Southern Arizona corridor.
